The wolf in native culture is the protector of dreams. Curious that I choose that animal as my protector. Although the wolf is a pack animal it mates for life and often pines away when its mate dies. I look at the wolves that surround me in my environment and as night descends i pine for the heart that makes me smile. I hear him talking to me and wait patiently to hear him tell me everything will be fine. Alone I am the huntress that seeks the comfort of the night and the solace of the howling winds.
